GARNETT FAMILY. - Richard GARNETT (1835-1906, editor) and P.B. SHELLEY. [The Relics of Shelley, Edited by Richard Garnett. London: Edward Moxon & Co., 1862]. 8vo (176 x 110mm.) Lacking the half-title, title and first 6 pages of the 'preface', but these are supplied in manuscript by David Garnett, the remaining letterpress text is taken from a set of proofs and includes a few manuscript corrections by the editor. 20th Century roan-backed 'batik' paper-covered boards, with note on rear pastedown 'Bound by R[ichard] G[arnett]'. Provenance: David 'Bunny' Garnett (1892-1981, Bloomsbury group member, armorial bookplate, presentation inscription 'Bunny' from / Richard [Garnett (1923-2013)]'). Note: three generations of the talented Garnett family contributed to this work.
