BINDING. - John BUNYAN. The Pilgrim's Progress. London: 1884. 4to (268 x 110 mm.) Title in red and black, frontispiece, illustrations (some full-page), after Frederick Bernard and others. Contemporary blue calf, covers with borders tooled in gilt and blind surrounding the centrally-placed arms of Downing College, Cambridge, spine gilt with the college arms at the head and foot, slightly scuffed). Provenance: Albert Francis Richards (inscription, dated 1886, noting that Richards was awarded the book as a prize for 'Natural Sciences'). - And five others (the 'Black and White Budget') (6).
