[CAMDEN, William. Britannia… Enlarged by the latest discoveries by Richard Gough… Sussex. N.p. but London: n.d. but 1806.] Folio (417 x 253mm.) 1 folding engraved map of Sussex by Cary after Noble, 1 engraved plate, text pp.267-306. (Repair to lower outer blank corner of final text leaf, some light browning.) Modern half-calf, g.e. Note: the complete 'Sussex' section from the second edition of the Gough edition. Gough's version was first published in 1789, translated from the last Latin edition of 1607. The map is drawn by E. Noble and engraved by John Cary. Chubb p.220; Fordham p.30.
