LOT 1066
A Chinese porcelain vase, 19th Century, the slender tapering body and lightly flared neck enamelled with a pair of green and black dragons amongst vapours and tendrils on an incised wave ground, underglaze blue double ring to base, height approx 42.5cm (chip to rim). Provenance: Norris Castle, Isle of Wight. Norris Castle was built in 1799 by James Wyatt for Lord Henry Seymour. King George IV, The Duchess of Kent and Princess, later to become Queen Victoria were all visitors in the early part of the 19th Century.
