A Chinese brown patinated bronze tripod censer, mark of Xuande but late Qing dynasty, of compressed circular form with a pair of upright loop handles, cast sixteen character seal mark to base, diameter approx 12cm. Note: the sixteen character mark translates as 'made during the Xuande period of the great Ming dynasty, five years supervision Ministry of Works officer Wu Bang Zou'.
