A Japanese Satsuma earthenware model of Kannon, by Hogetsu, Meiji period, modelled standing wearing a long robe, thickly enamelled and gilt with chrysanthemum, scrolling tendrils and bird motifs, gilt signature to back of robe and impressed seal mark to base, height approx 30.5cm (chips to hood of robe).
