A George III silver lidded tankard, the domed hinge lid with pierced thumbpiece, the slightly tapered cylindrical body with reeded bands and engraved presentation inscription 'Canterbury, as a testimonial of respect call'd forth by a faithful discharge of his duty as Billet Master during eleven years ... Mr John Browne, the 10th Day of December 1818', London 1802 by HN, height approx 19cm.
