DICKENS, Charles. Bleak House. London: Bradbury & Evans, 1853. First edition in book form, 8vo (211 x 131mm.) Frontispiece, engraved additional decorative title and 38 plates by H.K. Browne. (Some spotting and browning, heavier to plates, marginal tear without loss to plate facing p.86.) Contemporary half-calf (extremities rubbed and lightly scuffed, spine faded, upper hinge split and spine now partially detached).
