MILNE, A.A. When I Was Very Young. New York and London: The Fountain Press and Methuen and Company, Ltd., 1930. Limited edition of 842 copies, this number 839 signed by Milne, 8vo (227 x 136mm.) Printed in red and black, illustrations by E.H. Shepard throughout. (Occasional light browning.) Original pictorial cloth (spine slightly faded, small loss to corner of paper title label), slipcase (defective). Provenance: Maud [Milne] (presentation inscription to front-free endpaper); M.G. Falle (pencil inscription 'Given to M.G. Falle by Maud K Milne Xmas 1959').
