MOULE, Thomas. Winkles's Architectural and Picturesque Illustrations of the Cathedral Churches of England and Wales. London: Effingham Wilson, Tilt and Bogue, 1836-1838-1842. 3 vols., 4to (245 x 155mm.) 3 engraved decorative titles, 178 engraved plates. (Light browning and spotting, two plates shaved with minor loss to titles in vol. I.) Near contemporary half-calf by J. Carss & Co., Glasgow, spines gilt in six compartments with raised bands, lettering pieces to second and fourth compartments (extremities lightly scuffed and rubbed, calf recoloured). Provenance: 'Kershaw' (armorial bookplate to front pastedown).
