Double-page lithographed frontispiece, engraved folding map, engraved plan, 42 engraved or lithographed plates, wood-engraved illustrations, folding genealogies. (Some browning and spotting, occasionally heavy, map torn and repaired with tape.) Contemporary calf (rebacked, extremities somewhat scuffed.) Provenance: S. Osborne (signatures); L.F. Salzmann (bookplates). - And five others relating to Sussex (7).
