A Chinese Canton famille rose celadon ground porcelain circular dish, mid-19th Century, painted with a central figural panel within a surround of butterflies, birds, precious objects and flowers, diameter approx 34cm (hairline crack to rim), together with a similar famille rose porcelain side plate decorated with birds, butterflies and flowers on a white ground, diameter approx 20.2cm.
