A George III mahogany watch stand of arched form, the front chip carved with circular motifs, height approx 27cm, fitted with a silver pair cased keywind open-faced gentleman's pocket watch with gilt fusee movement and verge escapement, detailed 'Newman Risborough 6449', London 1781, the case interior with two watch samplers, one inscribed 'John Gill Dec 24 1848', the other floral.
