A late 18th Century silver and tortoiseshell oval snuff box, the hinge lid inset with a tortoiseshell panel inlaid in mother-of-pearl and silver with a mask radiating foliate scrolls, the plain sides with reeded borders, the tortoiseshell base piqué inlaid in silver with a view of buildings, birds and trees, length approx 8.2cm (some faults to top panel).
