BARRY, E. Barrymore, Records of the Barrys of County Cork. Cork: Guy and Co. Ltd, 1902. First edition, 8vo (253 x 170mm.) (Light browning and spotting, occasional minor soiling, pencil marginalia, ink inscriptions to preliminary blanks.) Contemporary half-calf, spine gilt in six compartments with raised bands, lettering piece to second, the others with repeat decoration in gilt, t.e.g. (extremities lightly scuffed, spine faded), original card wrappers bound at rear (ink inscription to cover). Provenance: Stanley Leonard Barry (armorial bookplate to front pastedown); Sir Francis Tress Barry (armorial bookplate to original wrapper); Long Crendon Manor, Aylesbury (blind stamp to preliminary blank). - And a booklet by Arthur Collins mounted to rear pastedown ('The Barry Family'. Frankford: 1911).
