London: Richard Clay & Sons, 1887. 2 vols., 8vo (252 x 160mm.) 2 colour frontispieces, 42 uncoloured plates (1 folding), 1 folding cloth-backed pedigree in pocket at rear of vol. I. (Light browning, some spotting particularly to plates.) Contemporary vellum (some soiling). Provenance: Stanley Leonard Barry (armorial bookplates to front pastedowns). - And two other related volumes by Gerald Brenan ('A History of the House of Percy'. London: 1902. 2 vols.) (4).
