THORBURN, Archibald. British Birds… new edition. London: Longmans, Green and Co., 1925-1926. 4 vols., 8vo (216 x 141mm.) 192 colour plates. (Light browning, some spotting.) Original cloth (extremities lightly bumped and scuffed, spines faded, ink inscription to front pastedown of vol. I), dust-jackets (torn with some loss, repaired with adhesive tape, one backstrip replaced in facsimile).
