SOWERBY, John (illustrator). British Poisonous Plants... second edition. London: John Van Voorst, 1861. 8vo (190 x 120mm.) 32 hand-coloured plates at rear. (Some browning and spotting, ink marginalia, newspaper clippings adhered to front-free endpaper, additional manuscript leaf tipped-in to p.29.) Original cloth (extremities lightly bumped and scuffed, ink inscriptions to front pastedown). - And two other volumes relating to mosses and insects (3).
