STREETER, Edwin. Pearls and Pearling Life. London: George Bell & Sons, 1886. First edition, 8vo (215 x 132mm.) Tinted frontispiece, 2 tinted plates, 1 folding map. (Light browning, some spotting, 1 plate loosely inserted, 2 leaves loosely inserted at rear, lacking 7 full-page chromolithographs.) Original brown cloth blocked in black and gilt (extremities scuffed, spine lacking). Provenance: Mrs A. Eden (presentation inscription 'With the authors compliments 1887' to title); Arthur Eden (inscription to half-title).
