DIXON, Charles. The Bird-Life of London. London: William Heinemann, 1909. First edition, 4to (216 x 155mm.) Numerous plates, many colour. (Light browning and occasional spotting.) Original pictorial cloth (extremities lightly bumped and scuffed, protector adhered to pastedowns with tape). Provenance: John Mackenzie (armorial bookplate to front pastedown and presentation inscription 'with the kind regards and best wishes of the author Charles Dixon, June 1909' to front-free endpaper). - And thirty-nine other volumes relating to nature and topography (40).
