(Some browning, leaves from A-F torn with loss and repaired with some text rewritten in ink.) Near contemporary morocco, upper cover tooled in gilt and blind 'Parish Church - Horsham, The Gift of Henry Padwick, Esq, Sep'r. 24, 1861', g.e. (extremities bumped and scuffed). Provenance: Henry Padwick (inscribed 'This book was given for use in the Parish Church of Horsham by Henry Padwick Esq'r the Elder on the occasion of the Marriage of his only son Henry Padwick Esq'r the Younger to Miss Jane Eleanor Chevall Tooke at East Grinsted [sic]…' to front pastedown).
