A pair of Japanese Satsuma earthenware vases by Hozan, Meiji period, each ovoid body painted and gilt with opposing panels of bijin and children out of doors, including boys riding hobby horses, reserved against grounds of birds and flowers with simulated brocade borders, gilt signature to bases, height approx 18cm.
