A Japanese Satsuma earthenware vase by Hattori, Meiji period, of hexagonal tapering form, the body painted and gilt with a continuous scene of a tiger walking between immortals including Kannon, beneath a pair of gilt dragon handles, iron red and gilt signature to base, height approx 17.5cm (minor restoration/retouching to handles).
