A Chinese coloured and jewelled soapstone carving of a luohan, Qing dynasty, modelled seated holding a peach with finely incised detail, his robes embellished with turquoise and coral coloured beads and heightened in gilt, his back with incised two character signature, the mat on which he sits upon with gilt decoration on a drilled oblong base, height approx 8cm, bearing label to base inscribed 'E & J Frankel Collection No. 760'.
