LOT 840
A late 19th Century French ormolu and Limoges enamel jewellery casket of square form, the hinged lid inset with a circular enamel panel, painted with a bust portrait of a Bohemian maiden wearing a gilt and purple dress with star headdress, gilt 'LD' monogram to edge, within a cast laurel wreath surround, cornered with applied scrolling foliage, within a cast stiff leaf border, the sides with a trellis ground and ribbon twist base, height approx 11.5cm.
