A 17th Century petit point and metal thread rectangular purse, both sides decorated with Adam and Eve seated below a stylized tree of life centred by a pierced heart and an eye, the scrolling branches issuing flowerheads, the coloured and metal threads worked in various stitches, approx 12.5 x 12cm (later lined and restored).
