HARDY, John. The Book of Common Prayer. Ensham: 1833. 8vo (203 x 124mm.) Hand written manuscript throughout. (Light browning, some offsetting and occasional minor spotting.) Contemporary morocco, covers and spine blocked in blind and gilt with foliate scroll decoration, gilt turn-ins, g.e. (extremities lightly scuffed). Provenance: Mary Ann Caroline Cecil (presentation inscription from John Hardy dated '11th March 1836' to manuscript title).
