WILSON, John. The Royal Philatelic Collection. London: The Dropmore Press Ltd, 1952. First edition, folio (355 x 246mm.) Numerous plates. (Light browning, occasional minor spotting.) Contemporary morocco, upper-cover with armorial crest blocked in gilt, spine gilt in six compartments with raised bands, lettered in the second and fourth, the others blocked in gilt with Tudor rose motifs, t.e.g. (extremities lightly bumped and scuffed), slip-case (bumped, scuffed and rubbed, some damp staining and light soiling). - And one other volume published by The Dropmore Press (H.D.W. SITWELL. 'The Crown Jewels'. London: 1953. Limited edition of 99 copies signed by the author) (2).
