A George III giltwood framed armchair, upholstered in a pale blue foliate patterned silk, the shield shaped back with a scallop shell crest above open arms and a serpentine fronted seat, on stiff leaf and fluted tapering legs, height approx 96cm, width approx 68cm (later gilded and restored).
