A provincial Chinese three-tier porcelain jar, possibly Swatow, 17th Century, the spherical body reserved with three panels of birds in branches, painted in green and iron red against an iron red trellis ground, height approx 16.5cm, with replacement wood lid (lower section cracked and chips to rims).
