Titles printed in brown and black, 2 sepia frontispieces, 12 colour plates, numerous uncoloured plates, 3 folding maps and 1 folding panorama in pocket at rear of vol. II. (Browning and spotting.) Original cloth blocked in silver, t.e.g. (extremities bumped, spines faded, head of spines chipped with loss, some damp staining and minor soiling). Spence 1097.
