Numerous plates and illustrations, folding map. (Light browning, heavier to half-title.) Original cloth blocked in blind, spine gilt (extremities bumped and scuffed, slightly soiled). - And twenty-three other volumes relating to canals and waterways (including: Lewis A. EDWARDS. 'Inland Waterways of Great Britain and Northern Ireland'. London & St. Ives: Imray et al., 1950). Provenance: The Michael Gilkes Collection (24).
