SCOTLAND. The Bass Rock: Its Civil and Ecclesiastic History, Geology, Martyrology, Zoology and Botany. Edinburgh: John Greig & Son, [n.d.] 8vo (201 x 115mm.) Numerous engraved plates. (Browning, some light spotting and occasional minor soiling.) Original cloth blocked in gilt and blind (extremities lightly bumped and scuffed, spine slightly faded). - And a quantity of other volumes relating to Scotland, its history and whisky (including: Alfred BARNARD. 'The Whisky Distilleries of the United Kingdom'. [Newton Abbot:] David & Charles Reprints, 1969). Provenance: The Michael Gilkes Collection (a quantity).
