LOT 2009
A small 17th Century Italian cedar Adige chest, the plain single-piece hinged top above the front with carved blind fret and penwork panels of figures, birds, animals and scrolls, the sides with carved scrollwork against a punched ground, the moulded plinth raised on wooden barrel castors, height approx 41cm, width approx 76cm, depth approx 43cm (faults and lacking one castor).
