[BYRON, George Gordon Noel, Lord.] Don Juan… a Correct Copy from the Original Edition. London: G. Smeeton, [n.d.] Cantos 1 to 5, 8vo (211 x 120mm.) Hand-coloured aquatint frontispiece, additional decorative title, 5 hand-coloured aquatint plates. (Light browning, some spotting, offsetting and occasional minor soiling, margin torn with loss to p.109.) Later half-morocco, spine in six compartments with gilt raised bands, lettered in the second and fourth (extremities lightly bumped, spine slightly faded, endpapers replaced). Provenance: Alex Bridge (inscription to reverse of front-free endpaper dated '27.4.1965', bookplate to preliminary blank).
