DALLAS, A.R.C. Correspondence of Lord Byron… An Original Memoir of Lord Byron's Life, from 1808 to 1814. Paris: A. and W. Calignani, 1825. First edition, 3 vols., 8vo (vol. I 165 x 102mm., vols. II-III 170 x 95mm.) (Browning and spotting.) Vol. I contemporary red straight-grain morocco, covers tooled with geometric and foliate decoration in gilt and blind, spine in five compartments with raised bands, lettered in the second and fourth, the others with foliate decoration in gilt, gilt turn-ins, g.e.; vols. II-III contemporary green half-morocco, spines gilt in five compartments, g.e. (extremities bumped and scuffed). Provenance: Von Dem Knesebeck (armorial bookplate to front pastedowns of vols. II-III).
