BINDINGS. - David IRVING. The Lives of the Scotish Poets, with Preliminary Dissertations on the Literary History of Scotland… second edition. London: 1810. 2 vols., 8vo (210 x 123mm.) 2 engraved portrait frontispieces. (Light browning, some spotting and offsetting.) Contemporary speckled-calf, spine gilt in six compartments with raised bands, lettering pieces to the second and third, the others with repeat decoration in gilt (extremities lightly rubbed, minor scorch marks to spines). Provenance: Christopher Turnor (armorial bookplate 'Stoke Rochford Library' to front pastedown). - And fifteen other leather-bound volumes (17).
