NORDENSKIÖLD, A.E. The Voyage of the Vega round Asia and Europe. London: Macmillan and Co., 1885. 8vo (227 x 145mm.) Engraved frontispiece, 3 engraved plates, 11 lithographed folding maps, numerous uncoloured plates and illustrations. (Light browning, occasional minor spotting, damp-staining or soiling, some tears to folding maps without loss.) Original cloth (extremities lightly scuffed, head and foot of spine bumped). Provenance: prize certificate from Dundee High School for arithmetic dated '1884-5'.
