LYON, George Francis. [A bound collection of proof plated from William Edward Parry's 'Journal of a Second Voyage for the discovery of a North-West Passage'. London: John Murray, 1824.] Oblong folio (280 x 412mm.) 47 plates only, comprising 24 proof plates, all but one in two states on India paper mounted. (Heavy damp-stain to the margin of most plates, some soiling and browning, occasional spotting.) Contemporary half-calf (extremities scuffed and soiled, upper joint splitting, lacking front-free endpaper and some other early leaves).
