A late 19th Century oxidized and lacquered brass surveyor's level, signed 'Stanley G Turnstile, Holborn. W.C, London Bridge ...' and numbered '847', the telescope with rack and pinion focusing, lens cap and mounted with a bubble level, length approx 30cm, mahogany cased (faults), together with a military compass, the case detailed 'J. Wardale & Co London 1918, No. 5138'.
