A 19th Century boxwood and ebony Staunton chess set, the white king indistinctly stamped 'Jaques London' and 'Leuchars' to foot, height of king approx 8.5cm, with weighted bases, some bearing applied lozenge registration labels, contained within a 19th Century Gothic Revival carton-pierre casket, the lid bearing paper label marked 'W. Leuchars ... Piccadilly, London' (faults).
