A Japanese Hirado (Mikawachi) blue and white porcelain koro and pierced cover, Meiji period, the compressed globular pencilled with two sages seated beneath a prunus branch, height approx 7cm, together with a Hirado porcelain dish, Meiji period, painted with chrysanthemums appearing through vapours, the rim applied with opposing chrysanthemums and leaves, length approx 21.5cm.
