A Japanese Arita blue and white porcelain tea canister, late 17th Century, with period gilt metal mounts, of rectangular form, the sides painted in Transitional/European Delft manner with opposing scenes of dancing Oriental ladies and a man carrying a yoke, the other sides with a flower vase, height approx 14cm.
