LOT 1133
A Chinese blue and white Kraak porcelain bowl, late Ming dynasty, Chongzhen period, the interior painted with a central circular panel of a seated maiden spinning thread, within a segmented border filled with panels of flowers and two figures standing at a lakeside, the exterior similarly decorated, diameter approx 36cm (repaired, chip to rim and some fritting). Note: for a similar bowl see pages 314-319 of Kraak Porcelain by Jorge Welsh, 2008.
