An early Victorian needlework sampler by Jane Attree, dated 1840, worked with overall bands of fruiting trees, plants, vases of flowers and birds, within a strawberry border, 40cm x 32cm, within a period frame, together with another mid-19th century sampler by Elizabeth Dick, 32.5cm x 30.5cm, later framed.
