Sir William Hamo Thornycroft - a group of three early 20th century brown patinated cast bronze plaques, awarded as the 'Open Championship Horticultural Prize, presented by Toogood and Sons, Ltd, Southampton Seedsmen to H.M. The King', all cast in low relief with a lady gardening and bearing cast signature 'Hamo Thornycroft RA', 29cm x 17cm. Provenance: from the estate of the late Alistair Morris.
