A late 19th century amboyna, ebonized and burr walnut bonheur-du-jour, with overall inset painted porcelain plaques and cast gilt metal mounts, the central mirrored section flanked by a pair of panelled doors, the frieze fitted with three drawers, the central drawer with a leather-lined writing surface, raised on fluted supports united by two undertiers, height 151cm, width 121cm (restoration).
