A mid-20th century taxidermy specimen of a roach, set within a glazed bowfront case, inscribed in gilt 'Roach. 3lbs. Caught at Corfe Mullen, River Stour, by C.A. Brister 10th Oct 1948', the interior bearing 'J. Cooper & Sons' label, height 34cm, width 56cm.
