(Some minor soiling, particularly to fore-edge, heavier to pp.41-43.) Original red boards (extremities lightly scuffed, covers damp-stained and slightly soiled), dust-jacket (light browning, minor soiling, backstrip faded and slightly bumped at head). Note: signed by Agatha Christie to front-free endpaper. Provenance: Antonia Fraser (inscribed 'Signed on the occasion of her 80th birthday at a party given by Collins', dated 'October 1970' to front-free endpaper); Vivien Devlin (inscribed and dated '19 August 1991' to front-free endpaper).
