STANHOPE, Hester. Memoirs of the Lady Hester Stanhope, as related by herself in conversations with her physician. London: Henry Colburn, 1845. 3 vols., 8vo (203 x 120mm.) Frontispiece to each volume, 1 folding plan to vol. I. (Light browning and occasional spotting.) Original red cloth blocked in blind, gilt lettering to spines (extremities bumped and slightly scuffed, cloth slightly soiled, lower joint of vol. I splitting). Provenance: Harvey Bonnell (armorial bookplate to reverse of frontispiece).
